I first met L & D a couple of years ago for their engagement photos on a sunny spring day in London, Ontario. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and they were perfect together. I absolutely adore how candid they were with each other in front of the camera. They didn’t shy away from being affectionate so the photos captured a ton of giggles and smiles. I was thrilled to then be asked to capture their wedding and when I looked up the venue I was even more excited. Revival House is spectacular! It’s so full of character, moodiness and warm lighting. I could spend days shooting there and not run out ideas. The alter is up a small staircase to a stage level with a huge stained glass window backdrop. It is truly a stunning view from the guest’s perspective. When the bride and her girls arrived they were swept up to the second level where they could see the guests arrive from the windows above the bar area. See if you can spot the bride spying through one of the windows while the groom waits below her in the photos! I hope to be able to shoot here again in the near future! So worth the trip to the beautiful little town of Stratford!
